Helsinki based COMPANY (Aamu Song & Johan Olin) bring their little Salakauppa and fill the Small Small Space during Milan Design Week 2025.
The show brings to life the history of the site as an old news kiosk, an edicolar. Visitors will meet a fully functioning shop with vending machine for purchasing items.
‘Sala’ means secret and ‘Kauppa’ means shop. All of the products in Salakauppa are made by very exciting, yet old fashioned great craft masters and factories around the world together with Aamu Song & Johan Olin of COMPANY.
COMPANY’s design is purely based on each master’s and factory’s story and function.
